Prior to her marriage to Christopher Cain, she was married to Roger Tanaka from 1964 to 1966, during which time they had two sons, Roger and Dean. Christopher Cain adopted the boys and gave them his surname. Sharon Thomas Cain has also worked in the script and continuity department.
